Thoroughly enjoyable.

It's sort of settling in now that we've won something. If you'd told me after the takeover that it would only be 3 years til we won something, I probably wouldn't have believed you. Especially considering where we were when the takeover happened. What a fucking brilliant appointment Howe was.

Genuinely feels like good things could start to happen for us now. We'll improve the squad in the summer, and we already know we can go to Wembley and, with the right game plan, take on anyone. And that's before we've made further investments to the squad.

And typically anytime you'd felt like this over the years the natural instinct is always 'oh but this is Nufc, an almighty screw up is probably right around the corner'.  Not anymore.

Cant wait to see what we do in the summer. Despite how incredible this season will have been regardless of where we finish in the league, I think the realization is there that some change is needed to keep moving forward. It will also have been 2 year then since we've signed a first team player. Time to make waves.

Going by the media mind all we've got to look forward to is who we sell Isak to.

Fucking hell man, I got 3 minutes into it yesterday and had to put it off.

I watched this….it wasn’t great but it wasn’t as bad as the latest TF offering… I’ve never really watched it (I come on here for pithy opinions and seering evidence based facts :shades: ) and am wondering who told the most charisma free non entities in the north of England it would be a good idea for them all to do a podcast together?

I hadn't listened to them in ages, but I listened to the one they did on the day of the final. They were all a bit drunk and it was pretty rough. I get why they put it up, but listening to a bunch of mates that you don't know, drunk, is never gonna be great.

I quite like Norman on there, he speaks well and makes sense most of the time.

I saw they've put another one up today, but I won't be going back in.

I've watched one or two when there's not been much else to look at, but they really are dire. Tons more better stuff out there now.

That ManU fan (Wyky's crush was it?) who does the weird face at the start was decent and she did quite a few bits on Nufc but her stuff sounds a bit repititve now.

I give these a listen to occasionally, American coverage is generally less obssessed with ManU/Liverpool etc.

Might just do ITV's highlights show instead of the full 90.

Making sure to give yourself enough time to watch the full ten minute freeview on Television X. Smart.

Road to the Final

I’ll never forget the second leg of the Arsenal  semi final at home. Atmosphere was as good as anything I’ve seen at sjp since the 90s. It was like an away day - I was in the gallowgate but the noise sounded like it was coming from all corners.

One YouTube video I wasn't as arsed on to put it mildly. This lad somehow gets to Wembley to watch us win a cup but me and many others who've done CTs famous trudging for decades? Don't be silly. It's the future I'm afraid, the club wants their money so me and others are just history now for NUFC.

Can this solely be attributed to the club?  Is PSR (i.e. the PL) responsible too?

And like it or not there's going to be a lot more of these forreners coming to games, it's a by-product of success. When I was at Spurs away the number of Korean fans there was very noticeable. They're the ones happy to pay through the nose to visit and are what we need to increase income in order to compete with the most successful clubs.

 right bear with me.

This is an Arsenal podcast, but these lads are proper Arsenal fans. Talking about how ridiculous it is that a good portion of their fan base think "it's only the league Cup", and those same fans think they have a divine right to come and take players like Isak off us when we've achieved more than their manager in a shorter period of time, and with less money spent.

Taking the piss out of Arsenal and their constant excuses about what "phase" of the build they're in, whilst Arne Slot wins a trophy in his first year and we've won one coming from basically nowhere.

It's background listening but I'm quite enjoying it.

So there! Fuck you! It's bottom of the barrel time, but these lads are doing better than some of the shit I've seen from our own fanfluencers this week!

If you actually watch the video you can see that’s he’s in the corporate seats so I don’t think you can blame the club for him being there.

Mea culpa, I certainly DID NOT watch the video but the brief bit I saw he seemed to be just above our lot so seemed he was on our end. I'm still gutted after the euphoria that tag alongs like this get to see us lift a trophy when others who actually did the 'hard yards' in the past are frozen out. I totally understand that's the way it goes these days, doesn't make it anymore palatable though.
