Can anyone find any links of players wearing the limited edition 96/7 3rd strip in denim blue? I’m struggling to find video or youtube highlights of games wearing this strip. I’ve just been given an original shirt, and I want to find out everything about it as I’m a total nerd. But there is not much on search engines

My mam and dad have a picture of me at their house from a trip to Pontins. I was crying next to a bloke dressed as a pirate and had earlier in the day fell off a pony during a race so not in a good fettle already. Plus the boot polish stung my eyes.

Keep the posts coming. I’ve got a mate in Australia who is a mental Newcastle Fan. He’s been to England to a few games. But not the Toon Army yet. 
I got this shirt especially for him. He’s an Australian who knows everything about Newcastle and the Premier League. And he’s a brilliant player at local level. I have him this shirt. He said it’s the best gift he’s ever been given. 
I said he must have been like Oliver Twist as a kid. 
but it’s actually great to see a proper Australian fan. I would love for him to see a game, and for him to have a proper night out on the town.

This was a time before hair transplants and trips to Turkey. Funny how the is no bald player in the Premier League now. Salah’s transplant seems to have been a a good luck charm.

There's a few DH gate versions of that shirt now. Never really liked it at the time, thought the v neck was far too big. I started one of my exiles this year from SJP, no ST as I was sharing and it was too much hassle with the bloke I was sharing it with, (it was his ticket). Fast forward thirty years and I'm in the same boat. Anyway, tell your mate that a few of us raise eyebrows when they hear fellow NUFC fans refer to us as 'toon army'.

Do you remember when Spurs released their skin tight shirts. But forgot to release fan sized shirts?

All the fans looked like they has spray on shirts 😂

Lucky we didn’t do that back in the day. Old mate with NUFC tattooed on his belly would have struggled. Does anyone know what happened to him?

No. He hasn't taken us as far as he can, in fact he's taken this squad further than anyone could reasonably have expected or imagined. 

 

We now need to spend some money and he will take us forward again with better players at his disposal. 

 

If Howe had benefitted from the level of spending that Chelsea have in the past couple of seasons, he'd have us absolutely flying. 

 

It's PSR that's holding us back, not Howe.

FFP was rigged especially to stop us growing. The other directors from the other clubs all voted on the FA board to stop anyone getting close to city. 116 changes (the number keeps changing) and I bet the FA hope everyone forgets about it.

Have we got enough movement to bring in world class players, within the FFP framework? Can we spend any big money?

Man Utd seem to spend $£100m + and according to Sir Jim, they are loosing hundreds of millions. How the F@#% does that work?
