Carragher was an Everton fan. He said mostly the right things post-match but it came across as very insincere and through gritted teeth

That fat cunt Gab Marcotti. I watched a bit of his podcast with his French mate yesterday. Marcotti declared himself early on as "not an Eddie Howe guy", OK you're a fucking idiot, and then the two of them went on to talk about Isak as if it was just completely absurd for anyone to think that he could now stay at Newcastle.

Oh and also Newcastle are ridiculous if they think anyone should pay over 100m for him.

Marcotti sweating in a big fleece cos he doesn't want to take it off and be seen in just a t shirt on camera, the fat prick.

Can't bear them two whoppers.

Yeah, he looked miserable.  Generally they need to get more non-partisan ex-pros on. Especially on co-commentating..

we were well represented, for once, with 2 (two) pundits. I loved hearing Shay and Sir Les big us up

No negative slant on the owners whatsoever and the questions can very much show positivity toward them.

I’ll fill it in later Jacob. Is there a question that reads: “sports washing, does it really exist in any quantifiable way? Discuss” because I can briefly tell you that it fuckin doesn’t and it only exists in the minds of half a dozen journalists who want football supporters to answer for the crimes of entire countries but not the likes of UK governments who sell them arms and buy their oil :cuppa:

Watching the Whisper It Loudly podcast. Never heard of it, but YouTube is feeding me any old slop after the last few days.

Anyway Darren Lewis is on it - you'll recognise him if you Google him - and there's some other gooner wanker on it. Lewis speaks very well about us and then this Jordan Gooner pipes up. Says nice things but then decides to go off on one about Newcastle not being a big club.

Lewis is straight in. Of course they're a big club, don't be stupid, and thus lad is saying "no metric other than their stadium gives them big club status. They don't sign world class players.... Blah blah."

Lewis stops him and goes "Who at Arsenal is one of the best players in the world?"

This Jordan cunt comes back with "Saka" and Lewis just cocks his head to one side..."Really? Bukayo Saka is one of the best players in the world, is he?"

Anyway I've put it off but Darren Lewis now has top boy status from me.

I filled it in for you but one thing I thought was a bit off was the question on support having increased for the team for xyz reason. None of the reasons reflect why I'm now more invested in the team than I was pre-takeover. It's not because we're more successful (though that was the nearest answer I could have, so I chose it) or because of community engagement or investment or anything - it's because of Eddie Howe and the sense of togetherness he's build around the entire club and fanbase. It's not a PR thing in his case, it's just how he operates to get the best out of everyone. He carries the whole club with him, and has made us all believe again over and above all other considerations. I think he's a unique factor in this that I'm tempted to say might invalidate some of the other assumptions in your report.

I used to get the Mirror daily, always enjoyed Lewis, seemed just a decent lad. Don’t remember him talking about Newcastle but what you say doesn’t surprise me.

Before this morning I’d never listened to the Times pod and very seldom to the Guardian one. The Times one was very good in spite of Rudd, particularly liked the host (who appears to be the actual sports editor) and obviously Hardy.  The Guardian one was only redeemed by a non Geordie lad I’d never heard of called Dan Bardell  who is plainly a Mag to his bootstraps, ST holder who from what he was saying has been there and done it game wise, he basically told the Villa lad on the pod that he hopes they do fuck all this season because he’d seen us relegated at Villa Park twice and sounded genuinely bitter when he said it   Glendinning was Glendinning, just a miserable fuckin prick

I’d suggest Jacob should ask the general public if they’re more favourable towards KSA since the takeover, which is what I’m told sportswashing is supposed to be about. Am sure he has very specific reasons for asking NUFC fans, but those answers will be fairly predictable…

It literally starts with questions about the takeover and ownership. I felt a bit bad so thought I’d give you the benefit of the doubt but as they say north of the border, you can get tae fuckin fuck

Not just that, there’s a question asking if we think the club’s community programmes are simply there to look good

I answered them, but it’s clear what he’s after and what his “conclusions” will be.

Laughable.

Are Wrexham getting the same questions?

It is just to gather data to show how the Newcastle fans feel toward the owners that's all, i just need data to show this as they will be shown in a positive light in my thesis results as i know how fans feel about them:) Thank you

I think our owners are evil bastards. I don’t give any thanks towards them for anything they’ve done for the club. They’ve bought NUFC for their own reasons. I just support the shirts on the pitch . I didn’t approve of Yasir Al Rumayyan lifting the trophy at the weekend….

Hows your thesis looking now?

I have had multiple interviews with journalists close to the club, and have formed a good idea around what my thesis will have in the results yeah. I need to see what my survey results produce also

If you believe that the takeover has made us see PIF or the Saudi state in a positive way then you should scrap whatever it is you're doing and start again.
