When you read that, you can understand Howe saying that Joelinton has a deep knowledge of tactics etc. For him to cover everything his fellow midfielders AND everything the CBs are doing, he must have to be so switched on.

Aye somebody mentioned it elsewhere on the thread. We should really push on and secure CL now though. If we can do that to Liverpool, we can get enough out of our remaining games, surely. Ball's in our court now - win our game in hand, and we're 4th, and others have to get past us for a CL spot.

Agreed, it’s great we’ve qualified but we need to be aiming for the CL. 
 

On that point however how refreshing it is we’ve actually qualified for Europe by winning something and not because of some ‘roll-back’ because other teams have qualified for something better.

i think we'll do it now. we weren't playing with freedom since the arsenal semi final as they were all thinking about the cup. they'll attack the rest of the season. i think the chelsea home game is the one where we confirm CL status for next season. i'm targeting that one as my next home game to attend. feels like it could be a massive game

Got back from London about 1pm……and immediately watched the entire match on catch up  

 

Am still stunned and unable to properly process everything….think I’m happiest for Geoffrey who I mentioned the other day, he was at one of the PL games we played v spurs at Wembley (we lost both, obvs) so it was 8 games he’d been at without victory at Wembley…this is him at full time with his son Chris ☺️

I've watched the full 90 again today. Fucking brilliant. Still doesn't compute when I see our lot climbing the steps and being showered with confetti on the pitch. 

 

The final whistle being blown with us in the lead, in a final, I remember that feeling like it couldn't be happening.
