Sure am glad I made it to Newcastle last fall. Not sure the city will still be there in the morning!

I already got the NUFC tattoo. What do I add to it I wonder.

It’s going to take a while to sink in but we’ve actually fucking won something. I know the manager made changes like the hotel but this team compared to two years ago was night and day. We turned up today without emotion, it was a team of killers out there to win. Not a single player let themselves down today, they worked their balls off for each other. Absolutely delighted to see Dan Burn score the opener, a man who embodies what our club is and for me Joelinton was MotM.

I just feel sorry for the rest of you cunts who don’t have a bank holiday tomorrow to sleep off the hangover.

My boss will be more hungover than I could ever hope to be. Neither of us will be doing a fucking jot of work tomorrow.

That reminds me, if you want to know anything about this current group then them getting Serena into the final team celebration photo tells you all you need to know. There are no individuals, it’s a group effort whether playing staff or non-playing staff. Absolute gentlemen.

And while I’m on a roll, a special mention for Kieron Trippier. He joined us from a CL contender when we were in danger of relegation and was one of the key players in dragging us to safety and CL qualification. He may be past his best now but was fantastic today. If he leaves in the summer then at least he can do it with a winner’s medal.

It was nice to see him going up to lift the trophy with Bruno but the fact that the both of them making sure that Lascelles made his way up to lift it with them just speaks volumes about the squad we have and the camaraderie that Eddie and Mad Dog have instilled. Legends, every one of them.

He couldn't have dreamed a week as good as this as a kid man. And the miserable fuckers on here who said he was a daft call up for the national team. If he plays like that, he's the best fucking English CB around! 😎

Aye, he's been on the wane for a while, but his performances in the semi and final were flawless

Doesn't look like Hall is there. Gutted for him he's been mint this season.

Yeah he has and I'm surprised he wasn't just around for the final like the rest of the boys. Hopefully plenty of chances for the lad to get some silverware with us.

I'm buzzing that Trips got the chance to put his tough times behind him and got to roll back the clock in a classic performance. Absolutely pivotal to us winning today.
