BTW there was a Scouser in our box who rocked up in his YNWA baseball jacket and made a point of telling everyone no corporate bullshit rules on no team colours was going to stop him. He was about as illegible as Gerald from Clarkson’s Farm and spent the pre-match being overtly obnoxious about our chances.

 

The moment Isak’s goal went in, he left. Mumbled “I’m not watching those cunts lift our trophy” and was gone with 38 mins still to play. The guy who organised the box had to lift his jaw off the deck. Don’t imagine he’ll be getting invited again anytime soon

the ticket i thought i had went tits up about a week ago, firstly it was a concessionary one for 16-21 yr olds, which I was happy enough to take a punt on, but then the price went up by another £350, fuck that. spent the last week hoping a one would fall out the sky and land on me lap, but it didn't. 

what can you do? seems it wasn't meant to be for me to be there so yesterday was tinged with a bit of sadness, thankfully however far outweighed by utter joy, we fucking battered the bindipping cunts!

the wife was hilarious, spent the entire game on her feet in front of the tele and then broke down in tears of joy at the final whistle, she's fucking cornish man, but by god she's been well and truly adopted!

me 87 year old man had obviously shed a few tears too when I spoke to him after the match, I wondered if I had enough time left to see us lift a trophy again, he definitely didn't think he had.

deeply envious of those that were there but infinitely happier for EVERYBODY who's invested their time and heart in to this mental, basket case of a club.
