I think because of his position it 100% should be offside because he’s actually ‘interfering with play’ but I’m about 95% it’s not disallowed for them. I do think the officials were good though. Or the ref I should say

Fair enough, it 100% doesn't change their keeper seeing and getting to the ball though, and then it's in the follow up that Isak puts it away. Anyway, just glad that it doesn't matter a fiddle.

Bruno and Joelinton both in tears really got me. Two lads from Brasil with no ties to the club but they just get it. A total credit to themselves, brilliant lads.

This could be the gin talking but I fucking love how much this meant to them.

Yeah. I’d also say I’d have been less objective if we’d lost

They've got proper ties to the club now (and tbh did well before this). These two with Tonali in midfield is a dream partnership.

Tonali also superb mind. And looked properly into the celebrations too.

Going into this summer with a trophy, and the spending money we have coming... if we can get CL on top then idk man, we could be about to see something special.

Jamie Carragher: "I find it difficult to be too critical of the team *pause* I must say that's one of the worst performances I've seen from Liverpool in a cup final"

He's not wrong to be fair. Not to take anything away from you, they looked absolutely toothless and we're more than a bit of a shambles.

It was comical hearing even the commentators pondering "well this is a bit fucking weird watching them line up to defend this corner as if there isn't a 6'7 giant just happily wandering about completely unmarked" for the first goal.

International break before our next home match is perfectly timed for this as well imo.

Crowd will be going fucking mental but the players should be back to business.

His physicality is insane, he makes a massive difference. There was moment near the end when Van Dijk tried to chase him down barge him off the ball but just bounced off him  then non chalantly went on to beat another man. Just mental

Just watching again. Even more tears knowing the final outcome.

I can't believe it. 70 years since last domestic trophy and before some twat says something, no I wasn't there.

The point was not that he was wrong just that he went from finding it difficult to criticise to calling it one of their worst performances in the same sentence.

Literally just woke up on the living room floor covered in French fries and with the mother of all hangovers.
