Christmas Tree 5108
Seen a few bits on social media and truly gutted not to be there for tonight’s mass piss up. Getting to the age now where I’m quite happy to watch from the sofa with finger on the red button as soon as the ref blows. Not actually quite sure what I would do if we actually won. Probably be a bit of an anti climax
Ayatollah Hermione 14702
I’ll be getting quite drunk to celebrate any win and praying that the sheer jubilation of lifting a cup will help override the depressive effects of the alcohol. This is a foolproof plan
Monkeys Fist 45243
Had a chat with a bunch of lads on the way down for the game at 6:30am at Ferrybridge services. They all seemed pretty confident and strangely sober. I remember going down to Cardiff for the game against Newton Heath and we were spackared before we passed Thirsk

If we play like we did then we're going to get thrashed. All I ask is that we give it a go. I don't expect us to win, but I do expect us to go down swinging this time. i think they targeted this tournament as the best chance of finally ending the curse. the two arsenal semi final legs were among the best performances of the season and our form and intensity has dropped away since then - coincidence? i think they've been playing within themselves since and are saving up intensity for the final where we unleash the beast against liverpool. no shame to lose against these but i expect us to work harder than them. no no-show this time. don't fear the occasion or the opposition. leave it all on the pitch. get into them, fuck them up. i predict a nervy 1-0 win to us. an early goal in the first half then an excruciating 70-80 minutes where we defend the lead.

Someone drove a minibus and I have a photo somewhere of the two retractable drinks holders in the front with a bottle of vodka and a bottle of jaeger sat in them before we left. We had to carry the lad who brought the vodka back to the minibus after the game

trainman 13
You've seen what happens if you can keep salah quiet (psg), not only for his general excellence in front of goal but him being the permanent out-ball, for which twont gets so much credit when he is really just hoofing it into that space/channel for salah to pick up. Double up on him, man mark maybe, don't give him space or touch him in the box. Good luck, take it home and leave them with just one of the four that the media scouse-rimmers wanted them to win... Oh, and those coming down today, try to leave something in the tank for matchday (we never learn...!)

We had to carry the lad who brought the vodka back to the minibus after the game Same crack- had a minibus We insisted on pulling in at some little market town in midlands so we could get more beers as we’d necked our stash Poor cunt We spent the night before in Swindon as we couldn’t get anywhere in Cardiff itself. First hour or so we were wandering around this deserted urban depiction of average, the town centre, totally dead bars, and thinking “ Well, this place is a fucking dump, might as well head back to the digs and get trollied in the pub there ?” We decided to go for one last pint before we fucked off back, opened the door of this Wetherspoons knock off place, and got hit with a wall of sound- the sound of several hundred Geordies absolutely wankered and taking over the place! I think it might have been Keith Whossname’s buses all staying the night there? It was mint- the place had an upper floor with a balcony looking down on the bar area below, upstairs was ours, downstairs was mixed. We were pissing ourselves at the married couples in their thirties, out for what they thought would be a quiet drink in town- loads of them walked in, stopped dead in their tracks- you could actually see the thought “ what the fuck…”form, and did an about turn “ WE CAN SEE YOU SNEAKING OUT!” Fair play to a couple of them who came in and had a drink or two, joined in the fun, but then fucked off as the night went on it because it became mental The town had one strip club and a curry house next door and they must’ve thought it was Christmas- rammmed to the gills with pissed up Magpies Next day was just as good- before kick off we had a square next to some Pasty shop that was doing a roaring trade, two Manure fans came strolling round the corner, oblivious until it was two late. This voice on the crowd pipes up ”Alreet lads, fancy a beer?” and within seconds the poor cunts were soaked to the skin with multiple pints over their heads. The Welsh Coppers were pissing themselves at that

Gemmill 50066
Interesting that he picks Joelinton and Longstaff as the two most likely to be good managers. Would not have expected Joelinton.

Carra at anfield with an in-depth interview with Slot, some back up bloke for the sky sports reporters when one of them rings in sick sent up there to chat to Howe because nobody else fancied it and it gives him something to do as nobody has any holidays booked this week.

I'm on the plane at 07:00 tomorrow to fly back and watch the game with family in the Geordie Riviera Couldn't bear the thought of suffering through it alone. At least I'll have a good couple of days. Heading back Tuesday so I can attend the victory parade Monday Nice 03:30 start 1
