Newcastle United v Brighton

I reckon Gordon's reaction yesterday was related to him being floored by VDV earlier in the season, which went completely unpunished.  Irony off the charts if true.

No one yet realised that Eddie is hustling Liverpool at this point? Play absolutely shite for the games preceeding (as well as not playing our biggest threat in the game at Anfield as to not allow them a chance to work out what to do) before blowing them away in the first half followed by a shut out in the 2nd with both Pope and Dubravka in goal.

Kulusevski do you mean? When he broke his beak?

Nah there was an off ball incident in the 3-3 vs Liverpool at home.

That cruise ship  magician cunt shouldered Gordon in the face deliberately and it wasn’t even blown up or investigated by VAR.

Blatant red card & far, far worse than Gordon did yesterday.

Ah I thought he meant Van Der Ven (he wrote VDV), so thought he was on about v Spurs.

Hopefully we submit that incident as evidence.

i agree, when you look at the prices players have gone for recently. if he pushes for a move, liverpool or someone could get him for £120m rather than the £150m price mooted earlier.

Why, he’s still in contract until 2028, why would we drop our price?

player power. if we qualifiy for the CL we could ask for the moon and he may not fancy the move anyway

Aye, plus it was in the box so should have been a penalty too.

The reality is that contracts mean very little in football nowadays - if a player wants to move then he’ll get his move. No club is going to let an expensive asset depreciate in value by sticking him in the reserves for any length of time - they’re going to cash in for the biggest fee they can get.

There is bugger all loyalty from the vast majority of players either (& why should there be?) If a so called ‘bigger’ club shows an interest - especially with their agents whispering in their ears - they’re going to be off. No amount of social media posts saying how much they love the fans & the area, badge-kissing or shouting ‘Vamos’ will change that.

I've never got the hype about him if I'm honest. Tripps isn't the player he was 2 years ago, but I'd still be playing him ahead of Livramento.

trippier is finished mate. Tino has not been great last few games but still young and learning, he will be our first choice for the next few years.

I think Liverpool will get him this summer. Nunez will be sold to free the dosh up.

Nunez is about 30 m max mate...with 29m in change!

Howe can't shoulder any blame for our drop in form. He's worked miracles here.

My biggest concern for Isak is Liverpool. They will be cutting their losses on Nunez in the Summer and Salah may leave yet. And they can afford £120m+ for Isak
