It's a huge ask to beat them in the final. Anything can happen in a one off game etc, but we know what usually happens when we play them, and what usually happens when we play in finals, and that's probably what will happen again. Brighton are bang in form and that could have easily gone either way today with the two goals ruled out. Big Joe is back and it sounds like Botman may be back for the cup final. The last couple of weeks, maybe even the last two season demonstrate that we are still lacking depth and quality in the squad. We can’t cope with injuries or mental and physical fatigue of the core of the squad. As we cannot buy our way to success like other teams did in the past it is all about enjoying being on the verge of competing. We are still close enough to success.
