The lad who does the commentary for Radio Newcastle is very good. Much better than your average local radio commentator.

Was watching something before and they were talking about how in the Arsenal players heads we are now, and the bloke's theory (think it was Andy Brassell) was that it ALL stems back to Jamaal Lascelles in his yellow tabard on the touchline, getting booked for stopping their lad taking the throw in when we beat them a couple of years ago. Ever since that, Arteta has been slowly unwinding every time we play them. 

 

I really hope that's right.

Yeah, I’ve only met him a few times but he’s always been spot on when I’ve spoken to him. Hasn’t got any edge about him and seems genuinely enthusiastic about the game and his job. I would imagine loads of people in a similar position would be all about them and where they’d been etc. but he’s not like that

Aye I watched that too, I reckon he's right tbh, that was the season we were the leagues biggest shithouses and arsenal havent got over clutching their pearls since.

 

Pete Donaldson who I go through periods of liking and disliking was the other one. He seems to fucking hate being a newcastle fan.

Hes got better and better, I remember when he started out he was a bit rough. Him and anderson are a good pair. Andersons miserable in a way I find entertaining.

Anderson could easily get a job on the nationals doing co-commentary but he probably falls a bit too close to the honest edge for their liking. He’s an equal opportunity man who gives abuse and stick to everyone, the media darlings included
