Struggling to think of a better away performance given the context 

 

1. 9 AFCB players out injured 

2. 1230 ko 

3. Our form going into the game. 
 

Their performance was a one off too tbf, if they’d played like that all season they’d be a lot higher than 6th. Our point down there was fortunate but decent. If we’d won yesterday Howe maybe would’ve rested some at Southampton next weekend. Not sure if he will now…

Easy. It was the right decision and a completely standard action. With the benefit of hindsight you might say "oh well it would be better if he hadn't kicked it THERE!" but it would still be completely standard to try to prevent the corner.

Every one of them, bar Tonali in patches, was completely "off it", using all five subs and changing it up wouldn't have lifted the rest of them, especially as we haven't got like for like quality on the bench.

 

You can change it up or tactically tweak it if one or two are off the boil, but you can't cater for, or fix it, for eleven of the fuckers.

It was, we will. They all looked off from the start, even Sandro took a while to get up to speed.

I don't think Bruno likes losing the toss and having to run uphill second half.

I think and hope you're right. We'll see soon enough. One thing that encourages me is that the team management aren't making excuses unlike some on here. Eddie will sort it.

We were attacking the Gallowgate second half weren't we? For some odd reason the camber looked worse to me yesterday, not sure why we have never corrected it.

You get games like that, where every single player seems off the pace. It's like it's contagious. It didn't matter who we brought on off the bench, the whole team had the yips and struggled with their first touch and a 10yd pass. 
 

We've just got to hope it doesn't knock their confidence again. It took us 3 months to get over it last time we were playing like this. If that team turns up against Arsenal then we aren't going to Wembley
