That was fucking beautiful. Pure catenaccio for the final 1/4 but that’s a million miles away from just sitting deep and inviting pressure. Bellisimo. They created fuck all after that and we created more and played the better football before. Loads of great performances and Gordon and Isak will obviously grab the headlines. I thought Tonali was great. But Lewis Hall was absolutely fucking immaculate.

Unbelievable effort from all of them. I thought Longstaff was outstanding defending our box when he came on and in general, all the centre halves defended the crosses outrageously well. Once that second went in, I knew we’d bring it across the line. What a team. What a manager.
