It was proper dinosaur football from them wasn’t it. Is that how they always play? I’m genuinely surprised how poor they were. Didn’t get in behind us once all evening. Can’t believe they got to second playing like that

Can't remember the last time I had so much pride in the team. Best full back pairing we've ever had? Best midfield trio we've ever had? Gordon the best LW we've ever had? Isak the best CF since Shearer? Burn the most underrated CB in the league? What a team Howe is building. Sorry I ever doubted him! 2/5 see me. Billy Whitehurst 958
One of the most enjoyable matches I’ve ever been to. I thought Joelinton and Dan Burn were phenomenal, as was everyone else. Isak was the best player on the pitch while he was on.

Gemmill 46961
Really enjoyed watching Arteta's interview. We didn't deserve it, two very deflected goals. Apparently what we do is to put balls in that bounce around and cause chaos and they just bounce lucky for us. He thinks he's being clever and getting little digs in, but he's not, everyone can see him for what he is, and most importantly mate, 2 nil. We've beaten you again. You've just got to enjoy what a prick he is.
toonotl 3285
Arteta is another one who Eddie has figured out. Like Emery and Ten H-Egg before him. Tindall dedicates himself to winding up the opposition managers so Eddie can calmly outfox them without breaking a sweat. It's dastardly. And I love it. The fact we scored from a free kick lumped forward was the most amusing part. We're a team that plays football. We're not the media-darling's version of a Fat Sam team, i.e., 'set piece masters' v boring football, 'game management' v time wasting gamesmanship. Then we score against them from a long hoof. Score again for the lols. Switch our formation to a literal 5-5-0 and just run a training drill for the last 30 minutes to save the legs. Tindall should turn up to the home leg with ten wrist watches on each arm.
Gemmill 46961
The slag that interviewed him started the interview by setting him at ease about how they had nearly 3 xG. I mean fucking hell love, the bloke has just watched his team lose 2 nil, never really look like scoring in a 25 minute period where we just let them have the ball, and your first thought is to pat him on the back for all of his lovely xG. He loved it as well. Straight into a little smile. Set the scene for him to spend the next few minutes being a little classless cunt. 1
Ayatollah Hermione 14221
Like you said though, he’s fooling nobody with that shite. Bit like Ange at the weekend. It’s deflection at best and isn’t anywhere near as clever as he thinks it is
Gemmill 46961
Isak was feeling a hamstring at half time, Botman was feeling his groin. Give the pair of them the weekend off, hopefully.

Gemmill 46961
They've got 7 games between now and the second leg. 5 home, 2 away, but they're away in Spain the week before the game and then they've got Man City at home the weekend before. We've got 5 games. 4 home, 1 away. Saka will still be out too.
Rayvin 5528
Was reading their forums and it was enjoyable stuff tbh. Highlights: 1 - Arteta is finished. 2 - Havertz is a joke. 3 - They need Isak. 4 - They hate Gordon, but they want to sign him too. 5 - One of them is 17 stone and could beat up Joelinton. 6 - They were hugely insulted when we subbed Isak off and thought Howe was dissing Arteta. 7 - They think Odegard is finished because he's now a father. 8 - Some of them did admit they played well but that we were better with our gameplan. That if they play like that at the weekend, they beat Man Utd. 9 - They are literally Stoke but not as good at it. Some oddly self aware takes mixed with some weirdness

Gemmill 46961
There's something to what one of the lads on the video was saying about the best striker in the league turning up in a 14 shirt cos he loved Henry, and scoring against Henry's old team. Absolute poetry.
john 63
8 hours ago, Alex said: That was fucking beautiful. Pure catenaccio for the final 1/4 but that’s a million miles away from just sitting deep and inviting pressure. Bellisimo. They created fuck all after that and we created more and played the better football before. Loads of great performances and Gordon and Isak will obviously grab the headlines. I thought Tonali was great. But Lewis Hall was absolutely fucking immaculate. He has been immense all season, to be honest I wouldnt swap him for any left back in the premier league. Could be first choice for England for years
Holden McGroin 6912
Burn was yet again superb. Consistently I’d say he has been our best player at the half way stage. Eddie will also have to decide who is best CB pairing is now Sven is back. He isn’t dropping BDB any time soon. Gemmill 46961
Notwithstanding the fact we still need to manage Botman. He's gone from zero to 100 past two games and there's a danger he breaks down if we keep doing that to him.
