They were much more robust once he stuck Mainoo on which does sort of mean that it's kind of on him for not starting that way. I don't know why he thought he would get away with the lineup he had, but that is 100% on him from their point of view. He has a touch of the Aussie Ardiles/ Russell Martin where he is sticking with his philosophy instead of being pragmatic to get points on the board.
