I reckon we win this - aye we've played some dross but we do look much better and I don't think that Liverpool game was just a fluke. We get a result here then go to Old Trafford with heads high, then I really think we can start to kick on into second half of the season.

I'll go 2-0 as well.

My only concern is their pace up front and our corresponding lack of it at the back but....

3-1

Has anyone (Fulham maybe) actually outplayed us this season, even before we "clicked", struggling to think of anyone.

I was trying to remember what on earth went on against West Ham a few mins ago... do they count?

Nope, we mullered them first hour but missed chance after chance.

Again, we missed loads of chances, no way we didn't deserve a point at Chelsea, Brentford I didn't see.

We were streets ahead of Brentford away first half. 2-2 HT score was a sick joke.

Aye we were better team up to 3-2. We get at least a draw at Chelsea with a pacy CB. We're so close to being great.

Still think this is the reason we went all out for Guehi over an RW. You can have an average RW in the team but if you're playing well you'll win games, and there's other ways to score. A slow CB pairing and you can play great, but a ball over the top and you're fucked. Brentford could have had a couple late on against us at 3-0 in the same way.

To be fair we were fairly dog shit early in the season and got some points we scarcely deserved. Great we have come back into form in time for Xmas though. :nufc:

Good teams do that.

We had so many players off the pace early season it was ridiculous, Gordon, Isak and Bruno looked nothing like themselves.

Aye we're coming back into the European mix just as their season is about to become pure bedlam as well. This season could still be a massive success despite some of the troubles so far.
