Renton 22003 Posted Sunday at 11:57 Share Posted Sunday at 11:57 (edited) Watching on Motd, why was Burn's goal knocked off. Pretty sure the assist came from a blue shirt. What a win though, without big Joe as well. Edited Sunday at 11:58 by Renton

Dr Gloom 22165 Posted Sunday at 12:36 Share Posted Sunday at 12:36 He also looked level on the lane with the Villa defender but who cares? Burn saw the funny side which is easier to do when you’re four up in the 90th minute
Dazzler 10380 Posted Sunday at 15:02 Author Share Posted Sunday at 15:02 Nah there was one angle where the touch was blatantly off longstaff’s boot. The rest were extremely unclear. At that point I’d already put away 8 cans though so could well have imagined the whole thing.

I thought so too but even if that was the case it was a deflection rather than the player deliberately playing it. I think that's how it works now. Of course I may be talking bollocks. 🙂 Edited yesterday at 01:07 by RobinRobin

He’d never put a dominant performance in for us at any stage and now after three very good performances I’ve read on three occasions since Saturday that he’s world class I hope to fuck he is world class but let’s not start sucking each other off until we see how he gets on v McGinn, Tielemans and Onana on Thursday 1

I would agree, Gordon looks much happier down the left. Murphy does provide balance down the right and has contributed well in this run against the lesser teams. I think the general turnaround in form is massively down to getting Tonali in the team. We’ve looked loads better with him starting in the deeper central midfield role ever since the Chelsea cup game. Teams are no longer playing through our midfield and how nice is it to have two central midfielders capable of passing the ball forwards?
