Welcome @Zoidberg - sounds like you've been following us since we were shite so I'm curious what insanity brought you on board. Glad you've joined the community anyway.

As for Ipswich, I think we're going to struggle here since that's been the pattern of our season so far. Honestly we should win this 2 or 3-0 but performances this season suggest it'll be more like 2-1 at best.

When I worked down there, we played them on a weekend (so I was up home) but on the Monday the tale going round the office was that in one of the bars a lad ordered 9 pints of lager and passed them out as they were served, when the barmaid pulled the last pint the lad had dissappeared into a sea of black and white and she was clueless who it was (probably TBD).

This is the sort of game we should be winning but have dropped points in all season. I hope we play like we did against Brentford and not how we did against Bournemouth. If we do, we win comfortably.

One of the times I stayed near Ipswich for a couple of days for an evening match the day after a bank holiday it was a little town called Manningtree, they were as bemused by us as we were by them but it was a good laugh. One of the locals was called 'piggy' and his son, also called 'piggy' had a season ticket at Ipswich.

I change trains at Manningtree occasionally. Very good little pub on the platform at the station, improbably enough. Probably also £8 a pint these days mind 😬

We had a pint in that pub on the way to the game and on the way back. :good:
