I was right and then wrong, turns out although cards are wiped after the QF, if you get a second yellow IN the QF you miss next game (1st leg)
Christmas Tree 4788
Lovely game and what a Rolls Royce of a player Tonali is. Such a pisser that we are so inconsistent as this would have been a magnificent season otherwise.

Gemmill 45872
I want the winner from tonight's game next. It's our best chance of making the final, and whoever gets through out of Arsenal or Liverpool will hopefully be fucked, still in Europe, and still focused on the title.

wykikitoon 20630
Last two games we've been pretty solid. I know someone will say both teams were shite but you can only play with what's in front of you. It will build confidence and consistency. Sandro 🤌🏻

Gemmill 45872
ChatGPT has had a go. I was very specific that it should follow the framework of Dean Martin's Mambo Italiano but I don't think ChatGPT knows that one. **Sandro Italiano** *(To the tune of "Mambo Italiano")* **[Intro]** (A boy from Milan, hey!) (Sandro Italiano, whoa-oh-oh!) **[Verse 1]** Hey, Newcastle, you should see this fella! (Sandro, Sandro Italiano!) Moves so smooth, he’s a midfield bella! (Sandro, Sandro Italiano!) He’s black and white, controlling every play, He makes the Geordies sing all day, We love you, Sandro Italiano! **[Bridge]** He’s got the skills, the flair, the style-o, (Oh, Sandro Italiano!) He’s running the Toon, mile by mile-o, (Oh, Sandro Italiano!) Passin’ and tacklin’, he’s the main attraction, In the middle of the action, Sandro Italiano! **[Chorus]** Whoa-oh-oh, Sandro Italiano! Our Magpie maestro, watch him steal the show-o! Geordie hearts are singing loud wherever he goes, Whoa-oh-oh, Sandro Italiano! **[Verse 2]** Hey, St. James’, watch him light the Tyne-o, (Sandro, Sandro Italiano!) He’s got the touch, and his play’s divine-o, (Sandro, Sandro Italiano!) From Milan to the Toon, he’s made for this team, He’s living every Geordie dream, We love you, Sandro Italiano! **[Chorus]** Whoa-oh-oh, Sandro Italiano! Our Magpie maestro, watch him steal the show-o! Geordie hearts are singing loud wherever he goes, Whoa-oh-oh, Sandro Italiano! **[Outro]** (A boy from Milan, hey!) (Sandro Italiano, whoa-oh-oh!) Dazzler 10327
"Sandro Ole Ole Ole" was about all I could make out last night from where I was. Second half it was hard to hear anything over the sound of a no neck gammon picking a fight with a black lad who was "talking shite all match" behind him. Definitely had nothing to do with race though, certainly not. Also not a hint of self awareness that the very thing he was accusing them of was the very thing he was doing. He said he would be waiting for the lad, his friend ("and bring ya fucking da an'aal") outside but he was nowhere to be seen when I left - obviously had plans with a wheelie bin, some matches and a metro inn. Other than that it was a mint game, Tonali clear man of the match - even without the goals he was everywhere and involved in everything we did. Gemmill 45872
Aye I do enjoy getting that feeling back of quickly checking the ref isn't doing anything mental once the ball's in the net, and knowing that that is a fucking goal and nothing is gonna change the fact. But it also does bring back the mistakes and the bias. Mind, saying that, that Liverpool one would likely have been bottled as a "referee's call" anyway.
