A draw and a win (if we do) is no basis for the establishment of a royal line.

the crown is a heavy burden. I too began my reign with a valiant draw against the league leaders.

Showing my age, but I can not think of Brentford without hearing Alan Freeman selling their static riddled bedding.

It’s a fucking lottery lads.

We only seem to turn up against the big boys at home. It’s anyone’s guess away.

Could be more-so, as it’s going to be just a tad blustery

Tonali benched after another impressive performance in his previous game. I don’t get it. Joelinton was the one who looked knackered towards the end against Liverpool. I’d have thought he could have done more with a rest given how many minutes he’s played compared to Sandro. Still, in Eddie we trust

Longstaff had better be the best player on the pitch today or that might change.

He did say they were both tired after Wednesday. Still strange.

He said Sandro was suffering with cramp so it's fair to suggest he had ran himself into the ground. They're both on the bench so at least they're fit and available.

“We don’t want players to get the injuries we had last season but why isn’t Howe playing our favourite players when they have knocks?” is essentially what I’m reading a lot of. Howay, man. I’m slightly more concerned that Miley isn’t anywhere to be seen

People completely unqualified to comment only trust Howe when he makes a decision they agree with :cuppa:

I mean it’s the result that matters (NEE FUCKING SHIT!) but he gets stick for not rotating enough and that being blamed on our injury problems last year in hindsight too

Yeah. He said both were fooked after Wednesday. They must not be ready to start.

Exactly this.

It’s not your strongest team if some of them aren’t 100%, not to mention the injury risk.

I get the need to rotate after a game on Wednesday. I’m just surprised Tonali is the one to make way. He’s looked brilliant in his last three games and it feels like Eddie might have stumbled across his best midfield with Bruno revelling in the more advanced role.

Joelinton is the one who looked most in need of a rest to me. I’m a massive fan of his but it feels like he’s been used in pretty much every minute of every game this season compared to Sandro who has been used sparingly for us, and yet seems to manage two games in three days okay for Italy.

I’m not pretending for a second I know more than Eddie and I’m sure he’ll be listening to the conditioning staff. I’m just disappointed it’s Tonali to miss out again as it means a Bruno dropping deeper. I hope that doesn’t stifle our creativity from central areas. Some of the forward passes he put in playing the more advanced role against Liverpool were chef’s kiss quality, particularly the through ball for Isak’s thunder cunt.

@Dr Gloom I certainly don’t mean you, I meant the cunts on social media who I’ve been reading. I cant help but think they learned everything they know about football from a computer simulation of the game…

I think it was @Alexthat said its not about the first 11 nowadays, its about using the squad.  We need to rotate, we couldnt last year and at times it fucked us.  It keeps competition up also as well as keep us fresh
