Even a Duncan Ferguson or Andy Carroll type would struggle without decent delivery Exactly, same with 90% of our crosses as they sail over everyone's heads and either out for a goal kick or worse, a throw on the other side of the pitch because nee fucker is there.

Cos he booked a couple of them?, fuck off man he was utterly inconsistent. Look at the ends of the two halves and you need go no further. Unfortunately, we are now at a point where what we got last night is as good as it is going to get for the standard of refereeing. Do I think it is acceptable? No. However, in the scheme of things, it has been the best we have seen in a while.

MrBass 2715
Fortunately Prime have the option of Stadium FX for audio so I promptly switched to that once I'd had enough of his drivel.

David Kelly 1260
56 minutes ago, Alex said: It’s the way we’re set up too though. Even though we were well worth the lead at HT (should’ve been more, which ultimately cost us a victory) I think Liverpool had something like 60% possession. Against a side like that sitting in, keeping it tight and looking to hit on the break is very effective. Tonali seemed to be deeper / more central too. He was excellent and gave us a degree of control in there we’ve not had much this season. He’s very clever in tight situations and normally manages to wriggle out of it and retain possession. Instead of just winning a foul. Which Bruno is very clever at doing. And while that takes the pressure out a situation it can kill momentum Having Tonali as the deepest of the three midfielders and Bruno further forward worked well. Tonali had probably his best game imo and Bruno had a hand in all three goals. He's our player who is most likely to find little passes in and around the box to release Isak or Gordon. The slight problem with playing like that is Bruno's lack of pace. When we lose possession and he has to get back he looks like he's running in cement. This should hopefully be less of an issue against weaker teams who don't have Salah to punish our poor passes. But ultimately if we want to create more we probably need to accept that trade off, at least until we have someone who's not dog shit on the right.

David Kelly 1260
Aye his ball for Gordon and I think he set up that useless cunt Murphy when he hit the post. With a proper player on the right we would possibly get more from him dropping a little deeper and playing those balls through.
Dazzler 10365
Remember when we wanted Nunez and got Isak instead? Good times. We got a worldie and they got a sunbed Andy Carroll for the same money

RobinRobin 11544
Has anyone seen anything as to why Slot went to see the referee at HT? Presumably upset we were allowed to be winning. Turning into Klopp mark 2 very quickly.

He should be like Shaq up there, nodding balls back across goal for others to attack.
