Internal Audit has taken a look at your claim and has some questions. I do remember finding out about Souness as I was waiting to fly out to Barcelona and being fucking livid as he was obviously such a terrible choice. Fuck me, literally staggered that was 20 years ago. Gemmill definitely used the Souness love in to wind up the likes of LM but he also firmly believed the Souness "hard man" narrative that he would sort out the young guns, and stubbornly stuck with this.
