Someone said they didn’t like the tactics. I didn’t it mind at all. I wouldn’t have liked it at 1-0. But we had enough of a cushion to sit  back and let them try and break us down instead of pressing like madmen for 90 minutes and potentially run out of steam. They weren’t good enough to create any real big chances other than that one that Jao Felix  had

We played the game that we had to play. It was a really well managed game. 

 

It was on par with what Man U did to us in the final a few years back. We got the goals then managed the game to the final whistle.

Much better tonight and will probably post more in the morning. First game of the season there tonight and it struck me how those Chelsea players just gave up when it became apparent that Palmer wasn’t coming to save them  Special shoutout to Cucurella for trying to wind our lads up whilst losing 2-0.
