If the tech giants start driving this it’ll completely change the sector with investment into research and the technology required set up costs will reduce quickly. Seeing we are of similar vintage, I don't think either of us will ever see benefits from it, especially financially, in our lifetime. The true game changers is in batteries being able to store renewable energy with more efficiency, requiring less resources and of course, without any of those funds going to the cunt called Elon.
