Loved that today. Been waiting for a good performance to match the results and we got it. Similar performance v Everton with a win and this has turned into a very good start.

Tonali just looks a classy player. Was hoping our midfield would match up to theirs today and it did. Think the top.4 will be City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea but 5th is there for us if we build on this and that will hopefully mean CL this time.

Class how the likes of him & Mourinho seem to love us and playing up here.

Both have connections with sir Bobby. When SBR came to us Pep offered to come join us as a player.

Aye, I had heard that until the commentary today. Can you imagine if he had played for us and had that connection? He could have been managing us now.

Big Joe was all over the place but is getting caught a lot in midfield this season. He can work that out though. Easy to fix.

When he's getting tired he's getting his pocket picked which is disappointing because he either isn't getting/hearing the call or his decision making is being affected by a lack of fitness.

There was one instance late in the game where he was waiting for the ball to come to him which every footballer knows you just cannot do.

He's so strong on the ball, he just needs to shield it better when he's tired.

Missed watching the game live for a family birthday party.

Watching it this morning I was very impressed with our performance. Hopefully now that sets the standard that we take into subsequent performances. I think Howe got the selection and tactics spot on today. It was brave without being reckless. And solid without being passive.

There certainly seemed to be an attitude adjustment compared to the Fulham match. Almost everyone had a good performance (despite the odd error here and there). Just need to bottle that apply it against everyone else and we'll be flying again.

All-in-all, proof positive (if it was needed) that this is still a very very good side. Credit to Howe and co. for getting a resounding response. Onward and upward.

I think we're only the 5th game on MOTD. They only get 8 minutes of highlights or something, and they've selected Tonali going down theatrically to Grealish's "elbow" as one of them.

Did they show Grealish (native American name: Windblows Falldown) leading with his arm and catching Schaar ?? That was a yellow, as was the Tonali elbow even with the slight (but wholly acceptable) over-reaction
