Wor Al and Shay are ripping Gordon for it not being a penalty, best just to move onto the Arsenal game.

I stopped watching after the game, why were they saying it wasn't? Ederson got his foot after Gordon played the ball past him. Sure he played it up, but if you think that's a problem with Gordon you haven't been watching football for the last 30 years.

Aye. Of course he left his leg in to make contact with the keeper and go over. It's fucking shite but it's also now an accepted part of the game. "There was contact so he's got a right to go down". You hear it all the time.

No point being a couple of old dinosaurs and claiming it's not a penalty. That's been a penalty every time for at least 10 years now.

Exactly that, that Gordon's touch was fucked and so he initiated the contact with Ederson. They are right but all strikers do it.

They also said big Joe's should have been a penalty because Walker didn't taouch the ball.

Let's be honest it has evened itself out either way.

Gillet should not be a PL ref, he was fucking useless at A-League level.

We are back.

Ran those fuckers ragged and possibly deserved all three points.

Gordon and Hall were tremendous.

So was everybody else mind. (Apart from that arse of a ref).

Gordon on there saying he's not at peak fitness yet. Says he's about 90% but games like today with constant running will help him. Says last year was his absolute peak physical condition and he needs to get back to that.

fuck me man, wheres that passion been for earlier part of the season?

bit of a nail biter, would've been beyond gilutted if we'd come out of that with nowt.

referees was an absolute cunt.  how the fuck was there only a minute added on to the first half half? it took the cunts 5 minutes to come back from scoring the goal.

7 minutes at the end because they weren't winning... fuck off man.

Joleon Lescott who's worked with Gordon for England U21s and now seniors says he's never known a player to be as interested in working as hard off the ball as he does on it. Spunking on about his "football IQ".

Huge performances on the pitch today. Point winning saves by Pope, Hall assured beyond his years, Joelinton a beast, Tonali class AF, Burn an absolute colossus

I do wish Big Joe would stop giving the ball away 3-4 times a game though.

I thought Trippier was very good today . We retain the ball so much better when him and Schar play.

Tino coped well with Doku so it wasn’t a bad thing Trips went off with cramp (hopefully it’s just that).

Big Joe was all over the place but is getting caught a lot in midfield this season. He can work that out though. Easy to fix.

100%. This back four is a Botman away from our first choice, IMO. Makes such a big difference having three out of your back four who are technical players comfortable on the ball. Night and day compared to when we had Kelly and Krafth in there

Absolutely brilliant result and much more like our old selves. Could have gone either way but I’m well happy with the point.

Gordon was superb and Hall was excellent. So composed on the ball for a 19 year old. He’s going to be awesome over the coming years.

And Jacob Murphy, if only he had that extra bit of magic, he would be a decent player.

Happy days are here again :)

Murphy is a decent squad player. Happy to retain him as a squad rotation option but he shouldn’t be starting so many games. His decision making and inconsistencies prevent him being a top player. We need a better quality first choice RW.
