The need to highlight it was strange especially on that show. But it's Bruno's and our card nicely marked for any refs watching because Gary's been a bit pissed off about it in the studio watching it live and probably decided that'll go in the show later on.  There's actually good moves/shots/chances they don't show because of time restrictions but he has a focus on that?

Exactly, the number of games he played last season when one yellow card away from a ban shows he can walk the yellow card tightrope. No way he makes that second challenge if he was already booked.

Bruno only got the yellow for that challenge because it was so close to the dive and the ref clearly felt he’d dropped a bollock.

 

Had Bruno been booked for diving he’s no where near that challenge on their player so it’s really a moot point that serves no purpose other than to highlight the biased viewpoints of the current crop of pundits.

he went over looking for contact before the defender made contact. But contact was definitely made. Six of one and half a dozen of the other. It would have been a soft one but I think it’s one of those that stays with the ref’s decision if he gives it on the field
