Drury's patter comparing Man U to a soap opera but their being more regulars in the Stretford end than the Rovers Return is, even by his standards, absolutely honking crack.

He’s honking.

How shite is that Hoijland btw? At £72m he makes Antony look good value

Dury absolutely devastated that didn’t go in.

”Raaaaaasssshhhhhfooooorrrd”.

You can hear the anguish in his voice when he has to admit it ”flicks the frame of the goal”

I'm really hoping this a draw. No good for either of them.

Man U win will boost confidence. A loss will be understood based on Chelsea this year.

I didn't mind Chelsea under Abramovic but I really don't like them now. Still not as much as my dislike for Man U, Liverpool then Arsenal

Fuck off Drury

It's last season but he got more excited for Liverpool half chances loads of times during the game than he did for our actual goal. When he's at old Trafford or Anfield he might as well commentate from the kop or the Stretford end.

Love Keane complaining that the current crop of Man United players don't have "the Man United DNA". That existed only under one manager in the past 50 years (or longer, there are people old enough on here to know). It just so happened that he was there at the time.

But this is just a club reverting to its normal state. Through poor management cos they've got the money to be up there, but the way he talks like they have a divine right.
