Thinking long term, but I'd take Iraola here one day when Howe goes. Absolutely quality what he's done there, they'll finish ahead of the likes of Brighton and West Ham if Evanilson clicks. Just a shame they're another club which will be held back by FFP because they've done brilliantly in the transfer market.

That history is all assumed tbf. There is absolutely nothing concrete to suggest they didn't get on / work well together etc. Anything that did hint at it solely came from Ashworth leaving to go to Man Utd - which could have easily been purely down to a massive pay rise at a much bigger club on the global stage.

Sorry, prefer conspiracy theories. :)

I watched a bit of this yesterday. This kid is absolutely ridiculous. Walcott’s Bergkamp comparison was spot on

For no reason I can think of, I can't stand him and get unreasonably annoyed at all the praise he's reasonably getting.

I completely understand your take even though he’s probably been the best player in the premier league for the past 18 months

I saw a headline earlier in the week where Celtic were talking up their chances against Dortmund based on the square root of absolutely fuck all.

Worked out nicely there lads.

Man United winning the FA Cup is a net good thing, I reckon. No Europe, but Ten Hag blowing their beans on shite in the summer, and securing himself a contract extension, along with us being the well-rested warriors for the rest of the season, will work out in our favour.

Crazy talk. Us winning a trophy is the most important net good thing. As ON says, we would have had a really good chance here, its shite we've missed it.

i wish we had secured european football at man u's expense but fear not - we'll be back in the champions league next season, thanks in part to not having the midweek games which fucked our squad last year.
