I guarantee if there was fuck all riding on it for us and you just wanted to watch Man City turn over Man United, the red team would pull a result out of their arses like they did at the Etihad earlier on this season. Now? Fully expecting a comfortable away win.

Same. Desperate for a Man United win though, which feels awful. Need something from Brentford in this second half too.

Russell Martin's Southampton took 5 points from the first 14 games.

His replacement took 5 points from the next 17 games.

Dogshit.

The bottom 3 teams have got 47 points between them so far this season. The PL becoming more competitive doesn't look like great news for newly promoted sides.

Newly promoted sides coming up with managers who insist on being football purists isn't helping them either mind. A bit of pragmatism would surely have resulted in Southampton picking up more than 10 points.

I listened to that. He actually came across alright. Loves his gigs apparently and was at Glastonbury which I found funny for some reason. Just him stood there like he's in his technical area.

Aye, he usually comes across ok, still wouldn't want him anywhere near us.
