He wasn't great tonight but he has 42 G/A in 42 games this season. (27 goals, 15 assists). He has 6 goals in 12 games for us. Reckon he'll be fine once ( if ) he settles into the side.

Couldn't see us being one of them. We'd rather spend a lot more to get someone who is younger and on lower wages so that Mitchell could consider the business fit for purpose. Although a lot changes if we have any outgoings...

Aye sorry I didn't mean us. Callum Wilson looked great at 30 as well, and the drop off when it comes is pronounced. But there are clubs with deep pockets and a need for a striker. 

 

Saying that, it's not a deal that would make much PSR sense, but for an Arsenal who we know he loves, if they need a striker to push them over the top in a title challenge for a couple of seasons, they could do a lot worse.

Am I right in thinking, our Euro place from the cup will go to the 8th placed team when we get CL (positive vibes) ?? If so means Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton and Brentford won't be "on the beach" yet, so going to be competitive to the wire.

I think Rashford stays. Which bigger club is realistically coming in for him? 

 

Villa might yet win the FA Cup and qualify for the CL again, and Emry has made it pretty clear that Rashford is his first choice striker. 

 

And if Rashford stays, the writing is on the wall for Watkins.

A lot of IFs there. Rashford thinks he is bigger than his current worth , but is showing signs of recapturing form. Im not sure who I can see going in for him. I didn’t see him going to Villa so who knows. Maybe he stays at Man U when they sack Amorim. Can Villa even afford him if they don’t get CL?

yeah, it was always unlikely that they could afford his wages. Our top earners are on half of what Rashford is making. They gambled on him helping them get champions league and go deep in the champions league - tbf he did the latter and might still do the former.

He’s also a media darling and they have hyped up his performances - he has looked good since going there tbf so I suspect there will be plenty of suitors. Job done all round

Rashford looks decent going forward but still offers very little when he doesn't have the ball. He has his sights on a bigger club than Villa but I don't see which of them would want him. The big stumbling block is his wages. Maybe he is a good lad and will be happy to take a pay cut to progress his career but I doubt it and Man U will be loathe to subsidise his wages in order to get him shifted on a permanent transfer so there's nothing straightforward here.

When you've made nearly £200m in profit over the last three seasons then it seems a bit stupid to pick a fight with the ordinary fan, particularly when you're having a poor season by your own high standards.

It's demonstrable just how toxic things are at Man Utd when you see the likes of Rashford & McTominay thriving having escaped. 

Which begs the question ... how potent would Fernandes be in a half-decent environment? He's absolutely wasted there.

there are still chats between fan groups and club. some success but still some way to go.

it's slow and the fan groups might not get fully what they want but so long as there is dialog. more protests to come i'm sure.

 

i don't have a personal issue with ticketing as i get my 6 (+2 for kids) without much difficulty. works for me.

unpopular but i don't have a big problem with £71. it's steep but i reckon PL games are probably worth £100+ when you look at american sports.

when i booked my 6+2 tickets at the start of the season the most i paid was £58 so not sure why they're £71.
