0.38 xG plays 0.14xG as we approach half time. Well worth all the fanfare.

But the world is watching according to the BBC so I hope they sort it out as le monde is going to be sooo disappointed.

So if this stays 0-0 we’ve got two games in hand above all teams above us with the chance to go 3 points clear of 4th and within 1 point of 3rd.

We need to be giving Leicester a statement-defining twatting tomorrow.

Our GD isn't as good as Forest's, City's or Chelsea's so we could do with giving them a right tonking. Nothing less than 7-0 will do.

Nice touch from Dorgu.

Looks like another great signing.

First piece of the Amorim jigsaw according to the commentators though.

The leeway that man has been given is incredible. I mean granted he's taken a tough job with a shite overvalued overpaid squad but they still go on about him as if he's some revolutionary wizard who will inevitably figure it out and all he needs is time to get there.

The bloke did well at Sporting. One club in an average league ffs. He's also shown himself to be inflexible and tactically naive so far not to mention greatly boost morale around the club by publicly calling his players and team shite numerous times.

But Sky and the like will of course call all that 'sticking to his principle' etc. We'll good on them. Here's hoping he continues this trajectory and turns out to be another Ten Hag.

Old Newcastle would balls this 9 times out of 10. But old Newcastle would have got twatted at Wembley too.

This post will be reviewed around 2200 this evening in line with Toontastic.net overly optimistic predictions policy,  clause 5, paragraph 4.3 ie “never, ever predict a positive outcome after a series of previous positive outcomes”

best wishes

My biggest concern by a country mile is availability of the players from now till the end of the season, if we can get by relatively unscathed we have a good chance of CL football but an injury to Isak is disastrous as we've all seen Wilson's cameos and he's a player who usually comes back in the side and doesn't take too long to get back in the groove so it's worrying seeing him look like he has. I'll be gobsmacked if we don't sign another striker in the summer.
