Nah, with Rashford it’s a mental thing. When he fancies it he can be unplayable but too often for Man U he just didn’t look arsed.

Aye. He is very talented and it actually looked like he put a proper shift in yesterday. It’s all in his head.
 

I doubt Gordon will ever get anywhere near 30 goals in a season. Rashford got Ten Haag in CL almost single handedly 3 seasons ago. However the past two seasons his application has been absolutely stinking.

Aye but Amorim had clearly said he was taking the piss in training. You'd expect a player taking the piss in training to turn up looking miles off the pace, but he hasn't at all.

Sounds like he wanted away from Man Utd (not that I’m condoning his actions). Very unprofessional and why I wouldn’t want him here.

 

I suspect he is giving 101% now as he probably sees Villa as a shop window and stepping stone to a bigger club (eg Barca)

One thing is for sure. Villa have rolled the dice and got 2 very good wingers in on loan. They are definitely stronger now.

If you cant get motivated to play for your boyhood club there's something wrong.  I still think he will end up like Lingard.

Apparently he is still living in Manchester and commuting to Villa.  Which I suppose makes sense as it's a loan and it's only an hour down the M6.  But, I think it would be good for him to move out of Manchester away from that comfort zone.
