But the truth is, they haven't. A lot of the ones they insist are bad, are actually perfectly good decisions like Joelinton's goal or Rice getting sent off, or this latest one. But they make such a fucking song and dance about it, and these pundits are so predisposed to take their side, that it gets into people's heads that they're the wronged party. And all the while, the stuff that really makes a difference IN THEIR FAVOUR, like it taking three yellow card offences until one of their players actually gets booked, and which they benefit from every fucking game.... That just gets lost in the "woe is us" narrative when once in a blue moon they insist a big one has gone against them. They can all FUCK OFF, as can the thick arsehole pundits who just love getting onnthe referee's case about anything. I must've missed all this pundit angst when Wolves seemed to be getting shafted every other week last season with VAR but he who squeals loudest etc.

Remember when Havertz went two footed and completely off the ground on Longstaff and got away with it? I don’t recall the outrage back then. In fact I distinctly remember Carragher calling it “daft but no more than a yellow” or something like that. Had the roles been reversed they’d be crying for a lengthy ban like Keane on Haaland’s dad.

Toonpack 10798 Posted Monday at 18:49 Share Posted Monday at 18:49 Evidently that still I posted (here and on bluesky) is not hard evidence or a reflection of what actually happened 🤷♂️ I’m deluded they reckon, oh and Joelinton doesn’t get booked btw although I believe he’s on 7 yellows.

In real time it didn’t look that bad but it looks dreadful on the replay. It would have been interesting to see if they overturned it if he missed it. Might have stayed with the original decision

Looked ready to cry not helped by no-one speaking his language. Settled in eventually. I reckon he'll be fine although i think i said on here that i can see him getting a couple of reds. I hadn't heard of him on December. I was surprised to see Khusanov thrown into the deep end against Chelsea. Say what you like about Howe, but he's not one to rush a player in. At times that seems counter to sense, but he took ages to bed in Bruno, Isak, Gordon, Hall, and Tonali. And now look at them go. Optimistic Nut 385 Posted Tuesday at 11:16 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:16 (edited) Ferguson would be an interesting one for them with the Potter connection. Might just need a move to kickstart his career. But aye, it's not like they've scrimped on strikers either. Signed sort after players and why we should throw everything at Isak to stay. Ayatollah Hermione 14415 Posted Tuesday at 11:42 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:42 I saw Ian Wright condemned the abuse Oliver was getting this morning despite being the kind of fuckwit that encouraged it in the first place. Screaming at the top of his lungs, exaggerating massively about a decision that went against them IN A GAME THEY WON, it’s all stoked and encouraged by pundits like him

He isn't so bad these days and seems a quite decent laugh but as soon as Arsenal are involved the eyes start spinning you can hear a whirring sound in his cranium, it's all their ex-players tbh, they're genuinely unhinged if a 50/50 goes against them, shame there's so many of them*. *Arsenal pundits, not 50/50 decisions going against them, I'll take the latter all day long.

Isak only started because Wilson was injured, if he was fit, Isak would have been gently introduced and I think you know that. I mean, when you look at his minutes when Wilson returned to fitness, it underlines Howe's approach to gently introducing players. They really are a bunch of fannies, 'that choke' in 1989 by the way was a backlog of games Liverpool had because of an actual disaster that cost 96, now 97 lives where it took Liverpool playing about four games in 8 days including a cup final and it still took 'goals scored' in the 90th minute to switch the title from Liverpool to them. They basically fluked that title win via a disaster.

Just like with Isak, Khusanov only started because we had no-one else. Stones maybe could have played but we need him for tomorrow night and he's fragile as hell. Usually Pep takes his time to bed players in but we have an injury crisis. It's finally starting to clear up, but the players coming back need to be fed back slowly or they'll get injured. On a different note Bobb has been training a while so i'm hopeful i'll see him at the etihad tomorrow night. A rare midweek game for me. 2

Rayvin 5688 Posted yesterday at 20:50 Share Posted yesterday at 20:50 City look toothless. Brugge just hitting them on the counter every time they catch a misplaced pass. It's nice to see Brugge do well but I think it's better for us in a few different ways if City don't bomb out here.
