Haha, going to games is in my past unless something presents itself. I'm too much of a hermit these days. Plus I think if you're not a boozer, the whole thing of going to the match carries much less interest.

I'd saying calling him lucky to be on the pitch is downplaying it. In my opinion that has to be deemed cynical, because whilst there is a small chance he gets to the ball first (he doesn't) coming in like that is saying either I get this ball or more likely, I get the player and take them out of the play and that makes it cynical. Anyway, always good for there to be some controversy that doesn't involve us.

 

You should always be able to look at a tackle and apply the necessary penalty regardless of what comes before or after it. It's so easy to do, playing advantage is supposed to be playing advantage to the attacking team. Here the advantage is clearly in favour of the defensive team.
