Seems like Palace are trying to have it both ways by telling the press a transfer is immenent to keep us on the hook whilst picking the player to play to play hard to get or something. They are probably hoping to push this to the last day and squeeze an extra desperate £5m out of us, and they undermine that if he's left out of the tie.
