Scottish Mag 3
Newcastle United are chasing Villarreal striker Diego Forlan. The former Manchester United forward has struggled for goals this season, but was scouted by Newcastle representatives when playing for Uruguay on Wednesday night in their 2-1 defeat by England at Anfield. Forlan, contracted to Villarreal until 2009, is also a target for Barcelona and is under consideration as a replacement for Helsingborgs-bound Henrik Larsson. Indeed, the Uruguayan's agents, Daniel Bolotnikov and Marcos Franchi, have already had informal contact with Barca about a summer deal. However, Forlan favours a return to the Premiership and is hopeful Newcastle make concrete their interest in him.
Brock Manson 0
Would be a big gamble considering he didn't settle in at ManUre. On loan maybe to see if he settles down given a chance. But we don't want another Luque.
Baggio 0
Not a bad player, would probably cost around £6-7 million.
