Alan Pardew, the former head coach of Newcastle, may have a new challenge in Iran. He has been introduced to Persepolis club, which is looking for a new head coach. Alan is now available after challenges in Bulgaria and Greece.

He has experience in Crystal Palace, Southhampton, Westham and Aris

Pardew in Iran plying his trade of defending a 1-0 lead would be enough to cause nuclear Armageddon tbh.

How many left backs do they have?

It's all left backs - it's a match made in heaven.

Also good to hear about two NUFC legends

A very reliable ITK reckons the other NUFC legend, Marcelino, is also in frame for the job.

Things haven’t been this  rockin’ in Persepolis since Cyrus the Great invented kebab meat and chips.

Alexander burned Persepolis down in a drunken huff/argument after conquering it. Good job he's long dead if he had to watch some of Pard's greatest hits like the mackem defeats, the regular hammerings from the likes of Liverpool and Man United.

It’s no coincidence that Alexander the Great’s supposed coat of arms was red and white, marra.

"The marra Emmett Brown jumped in his Deloreyin and travelled back to 357 bey cey and bucked a Persian blurt and birthed Alex, marra. He wrapped the babey in his favourite home strip, with Niall Quinn on the back. He wasn't wearing it when he went on his holidays to the past though, marra - that's mag behaviour. Anyway, that's where the coat of arms came from marra and why every single modern day Iranian is a fan of massive lads - and of course, the genocide."
