England getting knocked out is exactly what that goofy prick deserves tbh. They've been shite since game 1 and he's stubbornly stuck with it, seemingly thinking that just the one spot in central midfield is the place he needs to tinker.

Let's see if he can wake up in the next 60 minutes.

If England do scrape through, he'll feel vindicated and put the same shite out next time.

They just need a few dozen more games to figure out how to play together, patience.

If only he had Kalvin Phillips available we'd be bossing this. I feel for the bloke, me.

Can't wait for the next time the Rolfaroos are struggling in a tournament. Which will be the next time the Rolfaroos qualify for a tournament.

I’ve noticed Mainoo, who is clearly one of top 3 players on the planet , hides a lot when our centre halves have the ball and takes up positions where he can’t receive the ball. I actually quite like him btw, but I’ve noticed that today and he’s massively overrated

Very strange not to get better performances from those players.

I won’t mind a motm performance from Dubs to sell him to Saudi Arabia for 60m as it would certainly be a fair price.

In fairness to him, he literally came deep to get the ball from defence as I was reading this

Rice walking when he has 15 yds of empty space in front of him. We're far too pedestrian

Honestly think Kane and his lack of movement is the biggest issue, mind. Just makes everything so difficult when we’re in possession

It’s his fucking job in fairness to him. And he hasn’t done it anywhere near enough

Kane moves loads, it's just that it's really fucking slowly and towards the centre circle at all times.

I'm looking forward to hearing who the ITV crew criticise at HT and who they don't.

Mainoo was brilliant much better than the overrated Foden and Pickford's performance will depend on whether Man Utd retain an interest in him. Luke Shaw has had a cracking game on the bench too 👍

We got knocked out of qualifying from this by Brazil, Argentina and the African Cup of Nations All-Stars.
