Yeah, I concur. He should have played Watkins and threw Kane on if we needed a goal. We got to 1-1 and had them where we wanted them. Then Gareth decided to sit back again when they were there for the taking. Gallagher coming on FFS? Who was he going to take off? I am not sure this can be coached or is a cultural thing. Southgate doesn't help in this regard. Not saying we are not creative, obviously we are, but I think Spain are on another level, and I am not convinced that is completely down to coaching/tactics.
