According to Shearer. Two errors each from Pope and Tonali (lazy clearance and then didn't close down). And Trippier dives in for no reason. He's 100% correct. Terrible goal to concede. Lack of the right attitude more than anything. And we've been equally as shit going forward.

Howe will suss this. Maybe not in time for today, but he'll work out what's going on and I'm sure he'll eventually drop people if he needs to.

 

We all thought Wilson was undroppable in Howe's eyes for a while and now he can't get a start.

 

I'm not worried but if we lose this we're probably 1 point off the absolute minimum acceptable start to the season and 3 points off an average start.

 

We'll get sorted.

And really that's entirely down to bottling it against Liverpool. We knew we had a tough start.
