Feel like I'm having a lucid flashback of coming home pissed from the bar at my folks house and putting the hitman and her on.

Hall looks like one the startled brothers or whatever they were called on the Harry Enfield show.

So far this season he's looked more than OK.19 games last season and I have to admit I wasn't massively impressed.

It says a lot about both the lack of genuine options at leftback and culture of over hyping players when they have a few good games.  For the first month or more of the season he couldn't nail down the spot ahead of Kelly as he was anything but consistent.  He's been one of our best players over the last month or so, including MOM performances against sky six teams, but should that really be enough for a call up to the national team?  Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the way he's progressing now, I just feel that more than a handful of good games should be required to play for your country.

Tom Huddlestone has 4 England caps. Harry Winks has 10. 'Twas ever thus (well, in the modern era anyway).

That's just paranoia.

Na fuck that, a handful of good games should be exactly why you get in otherwise you get Harry Maguire getting the nod despite not kicking a ball in anger over an in form Dan Burn (other qualifying centre backs are/were available, but fuck them).

This exact reason is why so many English players have missed out on caps despite doing more than enough to get there over some hack playing second fiddle in a “top” side. It’s also why England have failed at every opportunity.
