Man City and Arsenal are very good, but seem to have brain farts.

Liverpool looked so shonky at the back, but they're so good going forward.

Spurs look so shonky at the back but good going forward.

Man Utd are so, so easy to play through. They've got very talented players who can dig them out, but until they sort their shit out they're a hot mess.

Chelsea are disjointed and Pochettinon still doesn't know his best team or how they should play.

Villa are good, but just not good enough, certainly against the better sides. They're yet to face Man City or Arsenal. They've lost to us and Liverpool. And have only had 2 clean sheets in the PL.

Yeah really strangle call that. Seemed to let City play the advantage and then called it back for foul when they were clear through on goal.

He's a useless referee

Looks like it could between us, Villa and Spurs for the fourth champions league spot. Spurs must be favourites as they don’t have the extra European fixtures. We’ll be there or thereabouts though. And we could go on a charge in the new year depending on what we do on January. The results this week have been staggeringly good given how threadbare the squad is

Lets see where Villa are in 3 weeks time.

Aye. Lets see where we are as well.

We've won 1 game away this season (v Sheff Utd) so this needs to be addressed pretty quickly if we are gunning for top 4.

We're stinking away from home so far this season.

Our away games;

City - We had chances but this is City
Brighton - We were poor and deserverdly got beat
Sheff United - Spanked em
West Ham - Should have got 3 points.
Wolves - Fair result, some would say we were lucky.
Bournemouth - Shocking performance.

So really apart from Bournemouth we have been beaten by City and Brighton.  How many of the top teams will go to them two places and get anything?

We've not had the easiest away fixtures, to be fair.

Man City, Brighton, West Ham, Wolves. It's only really Sheffield and Bournemouth where you expect all 3pts.

you can’t just dismiss Bournemouth like it didn’t happen. We also had leads v wolves and West Ham but let them slip (fair enough they were after European nights).

Everton and Spurs up next away. Let’s see how do in these.  Both really tricky games.

@The Fish What are the chances of our press stopping the free flowing attacking  play of Spurs next Sunday?

Feel free to use graphs and diagrams in your working :good:

Got to say, am impressed with Spurs commitment and spirit. They’ve got a cunt of an injury list too, which is ironic as their new-ish coach is apparently called flange? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

It's their press we need to worry about, to be honest. No team allows the opposition fewer passes per defensive action than Spurs do.  Ours is good (14.5), theirs is much better (8.45).

However, they're 6th for goals scored per game, and 9th for chances created. By comparison, we're 3rd for both. 12 sides give up fewer chances per game, and only 10 sides concede more goals. By comparison only 2 sides give up fewer chances and 1 side concedes fewer goals.
