He brings so much energy both in attack and defense. The only thing that worries me is that he would fit in at any top side around the world. He's contracted until 2028 so in a year/18 months I expect clubs to come knocking. Champions League and a contract extension in the summer would be nice.

You would hope given the fact he had a year out through no fault of the club, who continued to support him without question, that there has been some foresight here. Something along the lines of a 1 year extension, discretion to the club only.

 

He's been immense and reminds me very much of Michael Essien. Controlled but aggresive, intelligent, strong & clearly knows how to strike a ball. Would say he's a better passer though.

 

Fortunate to have him & hope he's here for a while.

  I’m not clinging on to anything, it was a joke by way of reality check via Winston Wolf ☺️

 

He was like a half shut knife every time he played before December 2024. Hes been brilliant for two months. Those are the facts my dear friend. The signs were there that he could be good, he hadn’t shown it. He was as poor as anyone v Fulham. Am not apologising for being too old to be a fanboy… I want consistent dead eyed killers this season and those who are capable of doing that but fall below those standards from time to time will get it in the neck from me
