Isak has made contact on the Brentford player with his foot and not won the ball. Pen for me.

The Brentford player has run through Isak's foot from behind him. Putting his foot out like that and not getting the ball is obviously dangerous in the box though.

Truly atrocious call. What's the point of VAR? To overturn the ref's on-field decision in cases of clear and obvious error, which that never was. Very, very poor. I can only hope that serves as a wake-up call because we've been as bad as that penalty award was.

Lol at commentator on a hot mic complaining that all she can hear is some lady going on about the cameras.

We have been atrocious. Eddie better put a rocket up them and we need to rethink our tactics. They've matched our physicality and have us outpaced.

Given that's the fundamental purpose of VAR it's ludicrous how often it's not employed in that capacity. They should do away with the pointless posturing of sending the onfield ref over to the monitor. Once they've been sent to look at it they've been told that their onfield decision was deemed to be wrong by someone in a studio with multiple angles to work with, so why not just overturn it and save wasting even more time.
