Redknapp. That's a red card and a pen.

Fuck off you nonce.

Why do they keep saying it? It can’t even be both any more per the rules can it? If it’s a pen it’s a yellow, either way Jiminez ran and booted the ball away then dived over he had no chance of getting the ball ffs.

Good first half by our lot, Isak looks fucking quality and a constant threat huge upgrade on Wilson. The good thing is Wolves have to open up which lets us in behind.

In retrospect Pope was very lucky, being at home and it being a less fancied opponent helped him. He made the decision to try to block the player instead of go to the ball, the Jiminez oversold it as well which further helped the decision to go our way.

All cancelled out by a clear handball the other way at any length.

Isak is difficult to manage as a defender. Huge, gangly, pace and with good close control. He's getting into great positions looking to score and supply.

Anybody else feel that now we're playing for something they're getting too stressed to actually enjoy the game?

But this is funny.

Without a doubt. The pressure is off we look more relaxed.

We've had a lot more balance in our attack with ASM wanting the ball down the left everything is no longer being syphoned constantly and predictably towards Trippier.

What a lot of us have been saying for weeks. So much better having a balanced attack.

Also Isak showing why he should be starting regularly. I do think Eddie will look back at the end of the season and learn from this and become a better manager for it.

I think it’s probably easier for these managers who are used to having a big talented squad to swing the axe and be ruthless. I guess Eddie has never had that luxury and is used to sticking by his first 11.

Hopefully as we add to the squad he will find it easier to make those calls going forward.

Hope we can get a 2nd pretty quick to settle the nerves.

Howe isn't going to risk players fitness for one season.  If he isn't going to listen to his medical staff, why risk Isak?

Exactly, Howe has said many times that Isak hasn't been fit enough to start. Have to trust the medical staff on that front, as frustrating as it is when he has always impressed in his cameos.

Pope has not been the same since his clanger against Liverpool.

Isak definitely doesn't look short of fitness. His pressing is relentless.

Don't think it's ever been fitness, more of a muscular issue.

Semedo IMO lucky to have not got a yellow from his earlier foul on Isak (that was not called). Well played Murphy.
