Our lot didn’t want that. 2 months back we’d have been all over them like a rash bullying them, but today we waited for turnovers and looked completely flat. It’ll be like this until Bruno is back. We needed to buy central midfielders tbh.

Once again our shocking lack of depth on display. They were shite second half and we couldn't take advantage of it, hard to see us kicking on with the remainder of the season after the current run of games. Far from a crisis but frustration about what could have been with a bit more depth, or at least just not a brain explosion from Bruno.

Mentally, we look totally off the paces. They were all totally shite today. Misplaced passes all over the place, poor touched, lapses in concentration. We did even lose the battle of shithousery.

We have to raise our game a lot, not just for the final but for the league games as well. With other results going our way we could have seriously cemented our place in the top four if only for poor performances.

Only one more game without Bruno, and he can't come back quick enough on that performance. Then again even with Bruno we've been anaemic in front of goal. We just have to hope this run is like the start of the season and we'll click and start picking a few wins sooner than later.

I think it's indicative of our squad depth. Eddie has kept the side pretty much the same, so players will fatigue and since the WC, I think weve seen a dip in intensity. The likes of Isak, Gordon and Maxi will take time to get back into it. Maxi definitely looked better today once we changed shape. Isak probably looked a bit short today and Gordon was industrious but with no end product. A couple of times I thought he had given himself an opportunity to have a pop, only to lay it off.

 

Going to have to count the casualties after that. Don't be surprised to see Murphy starting against Liverpool!

Possibly the cup final? We’re usually an aggressive team who battle and go in for every loose ball, but recently that’s ground to a halt and maybe it’s fear of injury ahead of the final.
