They wont be laughing when ASM becomes the first player from Saudi to win the Ballon'dor, and the shout out to his friends' shady facebook watch selling business during the acceptance speech will also be pretty epic. ...and he wins the "step over" awards..again. Not having a go at you, just posting some thoughts and advice - you are welcome to do with them what you would like.
Nefilim 14
Always hated players playing on their wrong foot - unless your Pep/Messi/Villa/Neymar etc. Arsenal always played inside. Our goal came from natural width. Gordon dusted all of Arsenal's left hand side, in defence and attack. Incredible assist that was natural to him on the right foot. Kenedy-Rondon, Ritchie-Wilson, now Gordon-Isak - these are the goals you remeber.

Gordon playing on the right is brilliant - as he can dust any FB to the byline, but is a threat inside. Tino defends Martenelli all day because he matches pace, as the winger will always cut inside. Same with Hall, Saka is a bit more fancy - but last resort, inside. It's why Southgate always fucked us - Saka on the right/Trippier LB...Young 2018 LB, always inside, no width, nothing behind, no crosses, Kane the poacher meh. ThatGinolaVolley 123 Posted Monday at 23:30 Share Posted Monday at 23:30 IIRC he skied a volley at the back post against Forest. Given the pro he seems to be, I bet he worked on that in training afterwards.

Gemmill 44882 Posted Tuesday at 09:31 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:31 Fair play to remember that little kid when he's just scored his first goal for England. Seems like a really good lad.

Gemmill 44882 Posted Tuesday at 09:43 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:43 That's when you know someone's not just doing the community day that their club has sent them out to do.

Obviously we seen Burn do something similar last season. I know it's easy to get carried away when it's players for your team do anything positive and I'm sure the mackems will have their own take on it, but there definitely seems to be some really good personalities in our club now. Not forgetting the genocide of course.

Holden McGroin 6587 Posted Tuesday at 09:55 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:55 My Mrs works in a hospital (not in North East) and she reckons all the players that turn up for the Xmas hospital visits are absolute dicks and don’t want to be there. Fair play to Gordon. He seems to genuinely do this off his own back and actually cares.

I do think we also forget that a lot of these lads are just kids themselves really. But yes, the older pro's / gaffers etc should be giving them guidance on what it means to sick kids to see them.
