I’ve said it before but the fact that Anderson was the only young academy player even sniffing that squad today is a disgrace. These are games where, if you have a proper academy, you can throw some prospects in alongside the seasoned pros and give people a rest. The current crop are going to get nowhere. Another Ashley masterclass

Add to that that Anderson was poor. We'll give him the rusty benefit of the doubt.

I see them constantly tbh. Every player is a loyal servant, where would new signings fit type comments, and loads like the above where there’s this hope to see what effect Howe has on players that have clearly never ever been up to the level required.

Largely agree, that’s why the ones that have come in haven’t played all season. But most people’s expectations have gone through the roof and think that our squad players are now below where they expect us to be…,that’s bollocks because they’re still our squad players. Even Eddie Howe can’t boost Chris Wood’s confidence in front of goal. Two games in a row now…

Class performance by Sheff Wed. Totally deserved that

Agreed, they worked very hard and held their shape well then took their chances well. Is what it is, we knew the limitations and level of many of the players we played today and one day they’ll be gone which is a positive.

Three fronts was a ton to ask given how paper thin our squad is, blessing in disguise this really as the FA cup is a real

long shot whereas we are in with a shout of both Top 4 and League Cup as things stand.

He was trying too hard to impress. I think he needs to go out on loan again. You need game time at his age otherwise your peers leave you behind.

That’s a bit harsh. Seeing as they made him play the second half blindfolded

His eyes being painted on is probably the only excuse I'd accept for him not hitting the target.

The plus side is that deadwood will be shifted on. Today just rubber stamped what we already knew and it'll provoke even more transfer activity come the summer, especially if we do get CL. A lot of them did well for the club considering but I'm not getting any younger and Lewis's hair annoys me more by the second.

I thought Wood was awful. He works hard and got an assist but his hold up play and finishing are championship standard tbh. Murphy can come on and contribute to the press ad he’s quick and a good athlete. But he’s got absolutely zero composure in the final third.

don't think he's anywhere near championship standard.

even the loch ness drogba pisses all over him, as does the lad who put 2 away for a 3rf division club tonight.

I genuinely don't want to see the twat play for us again, he knows himself he's finished.

Hat's off to the cunts. Hope they do well and scalp another so we don't have to hear about it repeatedly.

Who's going to come in for Murphy who has 4 years left to run on his nice contract? The bloke is Championship level at most. Chris Wood is gone next year so maybe he goes cheap in the summer.

Do you think we'll put up with Murphy doing his shite for any length of time? I'm surprised he's still there but he'll be moved on sooner rather than later. Wood is wank but who else would sit behind Wilson and Isak?
