I haven't been brave enough to start a match thread for a while, but feels like we need some fresh impetus. I'm going to the game this Saturday with my lucky mascot son, who has only ever been to see us win, and my record at West Ham in recent years is good, so fuck it. 

 

We will give them a good game whatever happens, but a lot will hinge on Bruno and ASM's fitness - those two could be the difference between 0 and 3 points - and whether Eddie is brave enough to give Anderson a run from the offset. I'd be tempted to start him ahead of Fraser if ASM is still injured.

I'd keep Anderson's start until we play Bournemouth at home. I fucking hope Bruno and ASM are fit for West Ham though.

they're a good side and bought well. their league position doesn't tell the whole story. they'll be one of our main rivals for 7th/8th. i know we're in danger of turning into the draw specialists but a point isn't a bad result here.

Since we both got screwed over by VAR last weekend whose gonna get done by it this time? 😉

 

Prediction, 1-0 to West Ham, scoring  in the 99th minute after 3 min of stoppage time, with VAR overturning a clear Paqueta dive into a pen and sending Botman off.

 

Afterwards, Eddie finally loses his cool and clotheslines the ref on the way down the tunnel.
